Sarah is an entrepreneur by heart with over eight years’ experience in running and building businesses. In the last few years Sarah has focused on the insurance industry, helping brokers to develop and implement strategy and process around retention, sales and marketing to maximise business growth. Sarah is the creator of ‘The Insurance brokers Podcast’, a podcast channel which interviews industry professionals about business and market developments. Sarah also sits on the Cambridge Cii Institute where she has the responsibility for arranging CPD events for members across Cambridge.

Having experience in all roles from Managing Director to Sales and even IT Director, the wealth of experience and opportunity David can bring to your business is vast.

Jenna Kennedy

Jenna has over 7 years experience in operational management covering HR, Data Protection, Cyber security, Accounting and Quality control, with a strong mind for business campaigns and software management. Jenna has spent the last 2 years developing and improving her editing and media management skills to create engaging sales stories and marketing campaigns.

Martyn Grime

Senior Insurance Consultant

Martyn has 40 years’ experience in insurance, 38 years of which was with a major composite insurer, in a series of Senior Management roles. After taking early retirement, Martyn joined Boston Tullis Group in 2019 in a Senior Consultant capacity. Martyn specialises in renewal and new business strategies, planning and forecasting to increase income. Martyn has a strong focus on building customer loyalty and value within brokerages and is especially passionate about facilitating staff engagement and objective setting within the business.

Richard Lamberth

Senior Insurance Consultant

Richard has 30+ years of experience in the insurance industry and has built a hugely successful MGA in the property sector. Richard has successfully started several web based insurance businesses and motor break down services. As well as a wealth of experience in this area, Richard is very well connected in the Lloyds market and can source capacity for most types of scheme as well as advise and support the implementation of such schemes.

Kenneth MacIver

39 years’ experience and is a specialist in mergers and acquisitions across the insurance industry.

Kenny has been involved in M&A  in the insurance sector, from both sides of the transaction as well as board level positions in major insurance entities. His passion is supporting business owners in gathering the necessary information to obtain the best valuation, finding the best prospective acquirer that will offer the best valuation and deal structure. This is not just from a financial perspective but also obtaining assurances about life post acquisition, which includes looking after the staff that helped build the business.

Helen Hibbert

32 years of experience in the insurance industry in both operational and senior management roles.

For the last 17 years, Helen has worked closely with the insurer market, managing and implementing Business Development strategies for Swinton. Helen has significant experience in both Personal and Commercial Lines products, having built up and rationalised panels, developed high level business strategies, implemented software house solutions, new products and pricing and much more. Helen is results focused and all about finding the right solution for your business.

Alan Chandler

Alan has undertaken operational management roles in three major global companies – NatWest Insurance Services, RBS Insurance Group and Allianz Insurance.

Alan has delivered training for almost all the institutes in the UK over the past few years with his enthusiastic presenting style proving very popular. Alan has presented across Europe on many technical subjects to companies including Allianz, Zurich, Aon, Marsh and Willis. He has been involved in the setting up of many diploma and advanced diploma programmes in both the UK and Ireland and is driven by a passion to see increased professionalism within the insurance industry. Alan has teamed up with Boston Tullis to offer bespoke training direct to broker on a huge range of topical and essential subjects.

Andrew Linnell

Andrew has been providing consultancy services to the UK insurance market since 2006.

Having worked within some of the industries’ biggest names such as Folgate Partnership, Towergate and Aviva, Andrew has a passion about improving the performance of businesses he works. Andrew does this by helping people to achieve their ambitions through coaching and personal development. Andrew works with businesses on strategy and business plans, helping them to understand their performance through financial analysis and benchmarking, as well as acquisitions, exit planning, internal governance and growth and sales management. He also assists businesses in bettering their performance management.

Roland Romata

Roland has almost a decade of experience in the insurance sector. Having worked for the FOS, Roland has joined the insurance industry as a compliance director, leading multiple teams globally.

Following his broking years, Roland became a consultant helping national and global firms to achieve authorisations and to effortlessly navigate regulatory risks. In 2019 Roland started his own regulatory compliance consulting firm which helps financial institutions in the UK and EU to meet the challenges of the fast-evolving digital era. Roland’s experience reflects his passion: automation of processes for sake of simplicity and risk management. 

Colin Birch

Colin has been a stalwart of the insurance industry for over 40 years.

Starting his career with the CU, he held a number of senior roles within the organisation before moving to Towergate where he was heavily involved in broker acquisition as well as running major P&Ls within the organisation. On retiring from Towergate, he was snapped up by GRP and MVP and is still an NED at The Civil Service Insurance Society. Boston Tullis are very pleased to have him as part of our network of highly experienced insurance professionals

Lisa has been growing businesses marketing departments for over 6 years and has a distinctive niche in content writing and organic growth strategies. She has the knowledge and experience to be able to efficiently create processes and procedures to ensure that marketing management teams can work together to grow their businesses using their key strengths and abilities. Lisa’s ability to market and audencify content plays a key part in the production of The Insurance Broker’s Podcast. She also manages the overall content creation for Boston Tullis’ Youtube channel, Linkedin and content across our socials.
